The Ground is where the communication begins…..

Some of the most important communications happen before you’ve even stepped in the stable.

The ground allows connection to be chosen not forced, unspoken words shared, instructions demonstrated, horses and humans empowered.

As a rider first I had no idea that I could gain so much in so many ways on the ground. However now I do, in fact I always start with the ground.

I now have connection first that avoids confrontation but still achieving the desired outcomes.

I have found peace in what I do and learnt so much about myself as well as my horses by giving time on the ground over “schooling“
